PACIFIC CREST TRAIL
Mule Skinners maintain 10 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail between Ollalie and Brietenbush Lakes in the Cascades. If you’re not familiar with this trail, it is an international trail available to hikers and riders that stretches from the Mexican to the Canadian borders. We gather for a weekend or two in the summer and do trail maintenance on our section.
This is an excellent opportunity to work our animals (and ourselves) enjoy the good company of friends, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along this portion of the trail. We’re fortunate to have such a rugged and interesting section of the trail.
Our organization is also active with the Pacific Crest Trail Association.
